guntû departs from its home port in Onomichi, Hiroshima, and slowly sails around the Seto Inland Sea, as far west as Kaminoseki in Yamaguchi, and as far east as Shodoshima in Kagawa. ONOMICHI U2

ONOMICHI U2 transformed a former port warehouse into a multi-use facility designed for the cyclists who flock to Onomichi, at the northern Honshu side of the Shimanami Kaido bridge network to Shikoku. The facility is laid out like a small town inside a city, featuring a hotel, restaurant with seasonal Setouchi delicacies, bar, café, bakery, lifestyle shop and professional bicycle shop.

Setouchi Minato no yado

Onomichi is a port town that flourished as a center of trade for many centuries. In order to pass down the historic buildings that remain here to future generations, we have worked with architects and architectural historians to revitalize these buildings into private accommodations where you can enjoy an ordinary day in the Seto Inland Sea as if you were living in the house.
