Bringing delight to life

We constantly strive to expand our imagination, stay curious about the world around us, and develop businesses that transform values of beauty, taste, elegance, and comfort into sources of delight.
We proudly operate guntû, a small ryokan that floats across Setouchi; ONOMICHI U2, a new Onomichi landmark made for cyclists; LOG, a hotel complex that blends into the hillside landscape of Onomichi; Setouchi Minato no Yado, a private inn in lovingly restored historic buildings; and tent, our serene and calming massage and beauty salon—each of which brings delight to life.

1
guntû departs from its home port in Onomichi, Hiroshima, and slowly sails around the Seto Inland Sea, as far west as Kaminoseki in Yamaguchi, and as far east as Shodoshima in Kagawa. A serene guntû voyage invites you to enjoy the slow pace of time, while feeling at one with the ever-changing seasons and scenery of the Seto Inland Sea.

ONOMICHI U2 transformed a former port warehouse into a multi-use facility designed for the cyclists who flock to Onomichi, at the northern Honshu side of the Shimanami Kaido bridge network to Shikoku. The facility is laid out like a small town inside a city, featuring a hotel, restaurant with seasonal Setouchi delicacies, bar, café, bakery, lifestyle shop and professional bicycle shop.
3
Renowed architect Bijoy Jainʼs Studio Mumbai renovated LOG in a modernist apartment block midway up a stone stairway to Senkojiʼs panoramic view over the city. Featuring a hotel, café & bar, gallery and shop, this place where time flows slowly lets visitors feel Onomichi through all five senses.

Onomichi is a port town that flourished as a center of trade for many centuries. In order to pass down the historic buildings that remain here to future generations, we have worked with architects and architectural historians to revitalize these buildings into private accommodations where you can enjoy an ordinary day in the Seto Inland Sea as if you were living in the house.

Located approximately seven miles from the historic port of Tomonoura, Bella Vista Marina is the perfect location for cruising in seas that are always changing with the seasons and time of day. The marina offers storage and maintenance of cruisers and yachts, as well as programs for obtaining marine and boating licenses.

Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi is located on a hilltop in Onomichi, overlooking islands that stretch across the sea—the beautiful view that inspires the hotel’s name.

The entire facility has been reconstructed with the aim to transform the hotel into an even more elegant space offering guests an exceptional experience.
