Izumo House marked its twelfth anniversary on April 12.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the local community and all of our guests who have traveled from far away for their support of our inn over the years.

The historic Izumo House once served as an official residence of representatives from the Matsue Clan of Izumo Province, and has been restored with modern amenities in a traditional Japanese style.

We will continue to offer our guests a relaxed experience as an inn for one group per day, where you can enjoy the architectural beauty of the tea ceremony room and other sukiya-style spaces, the garden with its seasonal colors, and the townscape around the Onomichi Channel.
