ONOMICHI U2 and LOG to Participate in the Hiroshima Architecture Exhibition 2025
Duration: From Saturday, October 4 to November 30, 2025

Our ONOMICHI U2 and LOG facilities will participate in the Hiroshima Architecture Exhibition 2025, a festival of architecture and culture organized by the Kambara-Tsuneishi Cultural Foundation. Both facilities will serve as Onomichi venues showcasing special exhibitions focused on architecture and design.

Under the theme of “Architecture: A New Stance for Tomorrow,” the Hiroshima Architecture Exhibition 2025 will present opportunities to experience, think about, and interact with architecture from perspectives of history, climate, landscape, technology, and thought. Visitors are invited to experience firsthand the art of architecture here in the Seto Inland Sea region and join us in seeking out a “new stance for tomorrow.”

The festival’s main exhibition, “The Nine Visions” will also be held in Onomichi, focusing on the works and ideas of Japanese architects (Kenzo Tange, Fumihiko Maki, Tadao Ando, Kazuyo Sejima, Ryue Nishizawa, Toyo Ito, Shigeru Ban, Arata Isozaki, and Riken Yamamoto) who have received the Pritzker Architecture Prize, considered the Nobel Prize of the architecture world.

In addition, a variety of projects are planned in the Setouchi area, including the exhibition of the reconstruction project of Kenzo Tange’s residence in Fukuyama.

Setouchi Cruise is fully committed to promoting the mission of the Hiroshima Architecture Exhibition 2025: to forge the city’s future through architecture, cultivate children’s aesthetic appreciation, revitalize communities, and preserve the region’s architectural gems.
